Review of Favorite Book

Name of the book: The Notebook of DOOM’s Attack of the shadow-smasher Series

Name of the Author: Troy Cummings

I am writing a review of the book that I have recently read, “The Notebook of DOOM’s Attack of the Shadow”. It was written by Troy Cummings. The book was published in November 2013. The book belongs to the horror genre.

Summary of the Story:

Alexander is a member of a monster patrol cammed S.S.M.P. There were three members in that group, Alexander, Rip, and Nikki. There was something in Alexander's shadow which was moving slowly that transmitted to everyone except Nikki and also she was acting abnormal. At last, they found out that Nikki was the monster. Alexander and Rip also found out that the beast feared the light. They turned on a massive light at night and all the monsters were gone and never came back.

The author's message through this book was “never trust anyone easily”. My experience reading this book was that I found this book not very interesting. I just laugh at Alexander’s jokes and was scared a little bit reading the book. Alexander was my favourite character in the book as the story revolves around Alexander and the things he did.

My favorite part of the story was when Alexander and Rip found out the truth about Nikki because they both knew her and at last they found out that the person they were trusting was a monster.

I rate this book 3.5 out of 5.
